The hotel had very spacious rooms with natural hardwood floors, which I found to be a great deal for the price paid. The room was really big, offering a comfortable stay. The service was friendly and the room size was nice, making the experience cozy. However, I had to do a bit of a backbend to rinse my hair in the shower. The location was excellent, with proximity to Quicken Loans Arena and just a couple of blocks from the pedestrian-only 4th street lined with superb restaurants. On the downside, I wasn't used to paying for parking, especially when it added almost 25% to my total bill.

My stay at the hotel was an overall pleasant experience. The rooms, although a bit outdated in terms of paint and finishings, were spacious, spotlessly clean, and had great high ceilings. The view of downtown from the room was quite impressive. The service provided by the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, within walking distance to downtown attractions. The dining options were satisfactory. However, some aspects could be improved for a more exceptional stay.
